The Process
No matter which program you choose, every student begins in the same place β with a real picture of where they are. Then we build from there.
Every student starts with a diagnostic probe β a domain-by-domain snapshot of where they are, what they know, and where the gaps are.
Results inform your child's learning path. No guesswork. No generic curriculum. Just a plan built around their actual starting point.
Sessions, content, and check-ins work together. Progress is cumulative β every dot connects to the next.
Parents receive progress reports and benchmark data throughout the summer. You'll always know what your child has gained.
Meet Your Guide
I taught kindergarten through 6th grade across multiple schools and several states. I know what a classroom can do β and I know what it can't.
I left teaching after losing my son, Bradford Lucas, to a rare genetic condition. Humble Hive Academy was founded in his memory β a deliberate choice to build something beautiful from the hardest moment of my life.
My son Rhett Daniel is what keeps me growing. When no available school or program could meet his needs, I didn't wait for someone else to solve it. I completed additional training, deepened my practice, and learned how to give him what he needed β and in doing that, I expanded what Humble Hive Academy could offer every family.
The mission has always been the same: beautiful, results-driven learning that reaches every learner. Because I've sat where you're sitting. And I built this so you don't have to figure it out alone.
"Every child deserves a guide who actually sees them β and I built this so no family has to figure it out alone."
β Kasey Beeson, Founder Β· Humble Hive Academy
π Founded in Honor of Bradford Lucas Humble Hive Academy was born from love, loss, and the belief that something beautiful can always be built from the hardest moments. Bradford's memory lives in every learner we serve.
Questions
Programs are designed for Pre-K through 8th grade. Students are grouped by performance level β not just grade β so every child is appropriately challenged and supported.
Not sure? That's exactly what the free 15-minute consult is for. We'll talk through where your child is, what your goals are, and which program actually fits your family's summer.
Workshops run on a rotating carousel model β each session is self-contained, so there's no wrong time to join. Pick Math or Reading, choose a session that fits your schedule, and drop in. No prep needed, no long-term commitment. Student A joins Week 1 and Student B joins Week 3 β both get full value from every session they attend.
Course Only is fully independent β your child works through the content on their own. Hybrid means Kasey is always in the loop β monitoring data, providing feedback, and scheduling live sessions when the data says it's time. Same content backbone, very different level of support.
Not at all. Small Group Workshops and Flexible Sessions have no long-term commitment. The Comprehensive Plan and Hybrid E-Learning are structured programs β but flexible scheduling means they work around your summer, not the other way around.
Yes β by design. Bite-sized content, engaging delivery, flexible pacing, and storytelling elements are built into every offering. Every intake form asks about learning differences, ADHD, and sensory needs so we can support your child from day one.
Absolutely. Many families start with a session or two to get a feel for the fit, then move into a Hybrid or Comprehensive plan. There's no penalty for starting small β and no wrong entry point.
Not sure where to start? Let's talk about where your child is, where you want them to be, and what kind of support actually fits your summer.
